How Klaus Rosenfeld is restructuring Schaeffler – Economy

Light blue above, rich dark blue below. And in between, a horizontal stripe in bright shades of green, as if dividing sky and sea. Klaus Rosenfeld, 56, recently saw the abstract work of the Spanish painter José Maria Yturralde in a Düsseldorf gallery. “I wanted it right away,” he says. “You need things to remind you of what’s really important.” He tells of discussions with his four children between 18 and 25 years. “You are right to ask me: What are you actually doing to get the issue of climate protection under control?” A topic “in which there is a lot of music and great responsibility”. That’s another reason why Rosenfeld wants to hang the painting in his Herzogenaurach office, “so that I can see it all the time.” Because “the Green Line”, he says, “it starts in the head”.
