- On June 9, the Health Pass will be implemented.
- It should allow the return of mass events, such as concerts, stadiums or festivals.
- For this, and to avoid any drift, the device is very precise. We will detail everything in this article.
On June 9, for the third stage of deconfinement in the face of the coronavirus, the health pass will come into force. A device that has long been debated, to the point of getting lost a little. But just a few weeks before its implementation, the terms of the health pass are finally clearing up. 20 minutes make the point.
The health pass, how will it work?
It will be in the form of a QR code on the TousAntiCovid application, downloadable in paper or mobile format. It is obtained either with a negative PCR or antigen test, or with a certificate of recovery from Covid (a person has already had the coronavirus and is considered immune up to 180 days after their infection), or with a certificate of vaccination.
“On May 29, Health Insurance will provide all vaccinees with their vaccination certificate, in the form of a QR code. They can download it from attestation-vaccin.ameli.fr or call their health insurance fund ”, indicates the Secretary of State for digital Cédric O in the columns of the Parisian. At the moment, the validated vaccines are AstraZeneca, Jansen, Pfizer-BioNtech and Moderna. Please note, this will be a mandatory QR code.
Negative test certificates will no longer suffice, in particular because of too high a number of frauds. The negative PCR or antigen test must be dated within 72 hours in France. For European countries, it is at the whim of each and the decision is not harmonized: between 48 and 72 hours.
Where will it be compulsory in France?
The Health Pass will be required for all large gatherings of more than 1,000 static people, such as concerts, theaters, trade fairs, fairs, stadiums and sporting events (outdoor and indoor), casinos, or festivals. Be careful, these are places where the crowd remains static for a long time. For example, the health pass will not be necessary for the Louvre or any museum with more than 1,000 people, nor for the Eiffel Tower or other monument, for example.
And in Europe?
In the European Union, the health pass bears the sweet name of the European Covid certificate and it must come into force from July 1 to facilitate travel. The idea is to allow travel through thirty countries (the 27 of the European Union, as well as Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein) without having to undergo quarantine.
The European Union is in talks with a number of third countries, including Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, but also with international organizations such as the WHO and air transport associations for mutual recognition and interoperability of the systems put in place.
Can I be asked for the sanitary pass at the restaurant or at the hotel?
No, the health pass cannot be requested in places where it is not necessary, that is to say in all events with less than 1,000 people, whether restaurants, sports halls, hotels , etc. You can file a complaint if you are asked for the health pass in these places, it is illegal.
In these places (which will reopen indoors on June 9), another device will be put in place, the digital reminder book, also in the TousAntiCovid application. This will be to warn people if a positive person went to this place at the same time as them, a process that had already been tried before the second confinement.
