The Munich cabaret artist Christian Springer organizes aid deliveries for the victims in the earthquake area from Lebanon. He has experienced how difficult it is to bring urgently needed goods across the border.

The Munich cabaret artist Christian Springer has been involved with the “Orienthelfer” association since 2011 to improve future prospects in the countries of the Middle East. The earthquake, which wreaked havoc in Turkey and Syria, also damaged his office and home in Beirut. Nevertheless, he immediately tried to send help to those affected from the Lebanese capital. This is – for many reasons – difficult, as he reports in an interview with the SZ.
