At first glance, Jair Bolsonaro’s new life seems very leisurely. At the end of December, in the final days of his tenure as President of Brazil, the right-wing politician fled to the United States. He has not returned since then, neither for the traditional inauguration of his left-wing successor Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on January 1, nor to calm the right-wing mob that stormed the government district in the capital Brasília a few days later.
