Hot topic: Karlsruhe: Bavarian law for the protection of the constitution is partially unconstitutional

The far-reaching powers of the Bavarian Office for the Protection of the Constitution sometimes violate fundamental rights. The Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe today objected to a number of provisions in the Free State’s Constitutional Protection Act, which was fundamentally revised in 2016 at the request of the CSU.
