A garden shed burned down completely in Türkenfeld on Friday. As reported by the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North, the rescue services were informed about the fire on Beethovenstrasse around 5.20 a.m. When firefighters arrived, the outbuilding was already engulfed in flames. Despite swift extinguishing efforts, the house burned down. However, it was possible to prevent the flames from spreading to surrounding buildings.
The Fürstenfeldbruck criminal police took over the investigation and determined that the fire had been caused by ashes that had not completely cooled down, i.e. that had been improperly disposed of. According to the police, there is no evidence of intentional action.
