Hope for a golden autumn – Dachau

In some places the sunflowers have long since faded and are already sadly drooping. Not so in Schwabhausen: there, in front of St. Michael’s Church, the sunflowers are still reaching for the sky, the blossoms are bright yellow, the leaves are bright green. Looking at them, you can indulge in the illusion for a brief moment that summer is still going on and that autumn isn’t coming anytime soon. The sinking temperatures and the sun, which is increasingly lacking in strength, speak a different language. But maybe you’re lucky and a golden autumn is imminent, a wonderful Indian summer, when the sun is still kissing your cheeks, but the air is already wonderfully fresh. Oh how nice that would be!
