This Friday the bees will move into their new home on Den-Haag-Strasse in the trade fair city of Riem. Furniture cars that spit out sofa landscapes and wall units will hardly be seen. Furniture that you bring with you is here – in the east of Munich – a yellowed idea of yesterday. The district, badly maligned in architectural criticism, but gratefully accepted by people who know better because they live here, is actually only a few minutes on the subway from the center. Not a hotspot for the sophisticated, however. And now: bees.
