Homeopathy: Studies often weak – Health

A meta-analysis shows: Studies on the effects of homeopathic remedies are often not registered or are subsequently manipulated. As soon as the studies are methodically more serious, the alleged proof of effectiveness evaporates.

An enormous leap of faith is placed in homeopathy. In surveys, between 50 and 70 percent of people in Germany regularly admit that they are open to the method or have already tried it. However, there is no scientific evidence that this form of treatment is effective. Beyond the placebo effect, which can however be observed with every treatment intended for therapy, a specific effect of the beads and drops could never be seriously proven.
