ZDF will show the opening game in June
Football on the couch: These channels will show the DFB team’s games at the 2024 home European Championship on TV.

After the draw for the group phase, it is now clear which channels football fans will watch the home European Championship live on in 2024.
Some football fans will have already marked the start date of next year’s European Championship on their calendar. Like ARD and As ZDF announces shortly after the draw for the final round groups, viewers can watch the opening game live on Friday, June 14th, from 9:00 p.m. on the second.
At the home European Championships in 2024, hosts Germany will face the team from Scotland in Group A in the first match in Munich. The first shows the other two games of the DFB team. On June 19th, the German national team will play against Hungary in Stuttgart from 6:00 p.m. Four days later, on June 23rd, the match against Switzerland will take place in Frankfurt from 9:00 p.m.
ARD and ZDF also show final round games with German participation
If the DFB team fights through to the knockout rounds, ARD and ZDF will also broadcast the other games with German participation. ZDF will then show the eighth and semi-finals accordingly. The first will take over the quarter-finals and the final on July 14th from 9:00 p.m. in Berlin.
The group stage of the 2024 European Championship was drawn in Hamburg last Saturday. Defending champions Italy face Albania, Croatia and Spain in Group B. However, all teams have not yet been determined for the European Championships. The three winners of the Euro 2024 play-offs, whose final games will take place on March 26, 2024, will be distributed between groups D to F and will face, among others, France (Group D) and Portugal (Group F).
