There are already 2708 plaques on the famous sidewalk. Now another is to be added. Salma Hayek is to be immortalized on Hollywood’s “Walk of Fame”.

Hollywood star Salma Hayek (55, “Frida”) is to be immortalized on Hollywood’s “Walk of Fame” with a star plaque.

This was announced by the operators of the tourist mile in Los Angeles on Friday. The native Mexican is scheduled to unveil the plaque on Hollywood Boulevard on November 19.

Hayek can currently be seen in the comic book adaptation “Eternals”. In the film by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao (“Nomadland”) she embodies the leader Ajak. Zhao is invited to the ceremony as a guest speaker. Hayek receives the 2709th plaque on the famous sidewalk.

Hayek has been married to French businessman François-Henri Pinault since 2009. They live in London with their daughter Valentina. Most recently she made films such as the action flick “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard” and the family drama “House of Gucci”.
