“Magic Mike”: Channing Tatum returns as a stripper in 2022
Good news for fans of the stripper comedy “Magic Mike”: The third part will be released on HBO Max next year.
The successful stripper story about “Magic Mike” with actor Channing Tatum (41) continues. Mike Lane is coming back, Tatum wrote on Twitter on Monday.
He also provided a photo of the screenplay entitled “Magic Mike’s Last Dance”, written by Reid Carolin and directed by Steven Soderbergh. Oscar winner Soderbergh brought the stripper comedy “Magic Mike” to the cinemas in 2012. The sequel “Magic Mike XXL” (2015) was directed by Gregory Jacobs. The third part is due to appear on HBO Max in 2022.
Tatum, who began his career as a dancer and model, also worked as a stripper in Florida at times. At first nothing was known about the content of the planned sequel.
After the cinema success, the US actor also created dance shows in Australia, London and Berlin under the name “Magic Mike”.
