TV comedian Leslie Jordan has died in a car accident at the age of 67. Hollywood colleagues reacted dismayed. Jordan won an Emmy in 2006 for his role on the sitcom Will & Grace.
The American comedian and actor Leslie Jordan is dead. The actor known from TV series like “Will & Grace” and “American Horror Story” was 67 years old.
Jordan was involved in a car accident in Hollywood that no other car was involved in, according to his agent Don LeClair. According to US media reports, the actor may have had a medical emergency before his car crashed.

Jordan has appeared in numerous television productions, including “Hearts Afire” and “Boston Legal”. He is best known for his role on the sitcom Will & Grace, for which he won an Emmy in 2006.
During the corona pandemic, the comedian posted humorous videos on Instagram, which earned him almost six million followers. In it he also spoke openly about previous alcohol problems or about his homosexuality in a conservative family home. Actress Lynda Carter of the TV series “Wonder Woman” wrote that he brought so many people together through laughter during the pandemic.

Numerous colleagues, including Michelle Pfeiffer, Selma Blair and Dylan McDermott, expressed their sadness. “Leslie was such a light to so many,” Pfeiffer wrote on Instagram. He generously gave the world his love and humor, especially during the Corona lockdown.
Jordan was a wonderful friend and a great talent, McDermott paid tribute to the comedian. They made each other laugh while filming “American Horror Story”.
Call Me Kat co-star Mayim Bialik credited Jordan as a true Southern gentleman who was “compassionate, smart, cheeky and hilarious.” Country star Dolly Parton wrote on Instagram that she was as sad as if she had lost a family member. Singer Lance Bass and rapper Cardi B also expressed their grief.
