Filming is scheduled to start in the summer – and as has now become known, numerous film stars will be in front of the camera for the thriller.

Hollywood veteran Clint Eastwood (92) brings reinforcements on board for his court thriller “Juror No. 2”. The Canadian star Kiefer Sutherland (56) and the American actress Zoey Deutch (28) are to step in front of the camera for the director, the US trade journal “Hollywood Reporter” reported.

In April it was already known that the Brit Nicholas Hoult (33) and the Australian Toni Collette (50) were involved in Eastwood’s 40th directorial work. Filming is scheduled for this summer.

“Juror No. 2” revolves around a juror (Hoult) at a murder trial who realizes he is likely responsible for the murder. He must decide whether to turn himself in or convict an innocent man. Collette is set to play a prosecutor, Deutch the juror’s wife, and Sutherland a mentor.

The son of Hollywood star Donald Sutherland (86) is known from films such as “Melancholia”, “Don’t hang up!”, “No trace” and “Flatliners”. On the screen he caused a sensation with the thriller series “24” as anti-terrorist agent Jack Bauer. Four-time Oscar winner Eastwood (“Unforgiven”, “Million Dollar Baby”) most recently directed “Cry Macho” (2021) and “Richard Jewell” (2020).
