When you hear the word Hollywood, you don’t necessarily think of the Munich district of Milbertshofen. But James Caan brought both together when he shot the 1975 science fiction film “Rollerball” in the Olympic Park, among other places. In those settings that had been built three years earlier for the Olympic Games, and which Hollywood probably classified as an appropriate image of a dystopian future. The Rudi-Sedlmayer-Halle and the BMW high-rise also served as backdrops for the film.
