Hohenlinden – Accident on the A 94: Man critically injured – Ebersberg

There was a traffic accident on the A 94 near Hohenlinden on the Friday before the holidays, in which two men were injured, one of whom was life-threatening. The perpetrator fled from the scene of the accident. According to the police, the incident occurred at 8:50 p.m. at the Hohenlinden junction. An unknown driver of a tarpaulin semitrailer was driving on the deceleration lane. For unknown reasons, he switched from the deceleration lane to the right-hand lane. He overlooked a blue Dacia and trailer that was being driven by a man. The car skidded, rolled over several times and finally came to a standstill. A subsequent car, which was driven by a 60-year-old from the Münsingen district, had to avoid the Dacia, began to lurch itself and then hit the concrete sliding wall. Another subsequent 58-year-old from Mühldorfer crashed head-on into the blue Dacia. The driver of the Dacia was trapped and had to be rescued by the fire brigade. The 63-year-old driver of the Dacias was admitted to a Munich hospital with life-threatening injuries. The Mühldorfer was admitted to a nearby hospital, slightly injured. According to initial estimates, the property damage amounts to 47,000 euros. The A 94 had to be closed for hours in the direction of Passau. The traffic was diverted at the Forstinning junction. According to the police, the driver of the tractor-trailer that caused the accident stopped 150 meters behind the scene of the accident and examined the events. A short time later he got in and fled. The Munich II public prosecutor’s office called an expert to clarify the course of the accident.
