Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn: Quirin Mayer moves up to the municipal council – district of Munich

At the age of just 21, Katharina Prorok moved into the Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn municipal council for the CSU in 2002. Since then she has been a member of the panel with an interruption from 2008 to 2012. Until now. Because now Prorok has resigned her mandate – “for the three best reasons,” as she said in her last meeting. One of them, son Ferdinand, was sitting on her lap. The other two are her twins, who are expected to be born in December.

“We very much regret that Katharina Prorok is leaving – but the reason is a good one,” said CSU parliamentary group leader Roland Spingler. The other parties also gave a lot of praise for the 41-year-old, who was “a real asset”, according to Mayor Mindy Konwitschny (SPD). Shortly thereafter, she sworn in Quirin Mayer (CSU) as a successor and new municipal councilor. Meanwhile, Prorok left the panel with one final motion before leaving. This suggests that the community allows the planting of “trees of life” for newborns in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn. In this way, according to the outgoing councilwoman, parents and grandparents can “leave something sustainable and lasting” to their children and grandchildren.
