With a new funding program, the municipality of Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn wants to encourage its citizens to do more climate protection. There are subsidies for mini photovoltaic systems, building insulation and the unsealing of areas, but also for the purchase of bicycle trailers and nesting aids.
The municipal council has set aside 40,000 euros for the current year and 50,000 for next year for the support program called “climate bonus”. The subsidy can be applied for before or after the implementation of the measure – for 2022 even retrospectively. Further information and application forms can be found on the municipality’s website. It also lists which measures can count on grants.
In addition, there is the possibility of applying for special funding “for flagship projects with an extraordinary environmental and climate protection character”. The maximum funding amount within five years is 10,000 euros per residential unit for private applicants.
