The persistent heavy rains damaged the building of a supermarket in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn on Sunday morning. According to the fire brigade operations center for the district of Munich, the local fire brigade and the technical relief organization erected an emergency roof after water had penetrated through the flat roof into the sales room of the Edeka market in Höhenkirchen. The operation lasted several hours.
In the Wächterhof, which also belongs to the municipality of Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn, the S-Bahn underpass on Luitpoldstraße filled up during the storm and had to be pumped out by the fire brigade.
