The Höhenkirchen brass band has received new rehearsal rooms and the culture award from the district of Munich. The members are all the more looking forward to their first two concerts as part of “Musik im Pfarrsaal” on November 14th and 21st from 7.30pm. Because large orchestral rehearsals have not been allowed to take place since March 2020, eight small ensembles – mostly under professional direction or advice – have developed their own music repertoire, which is now to be performed. On November 14th you can hear an oboe-bassoon trio, a saxophone quartet, tuba and piano as well as a tuba ensemble, on November 21st a flute ensemble, a clarinet ensemble, a brass quintet as well as marimba, xylophone and piano.
