A 21-year-old driver suffered minor injuries when her car collided with a truck on Monday evening. The young woman from the Miesbach district drove around 6 p.m. in a column of several cars behind the truck on state road 2079 in the direction of Oberpframmern. According to the police, when the truck driver reduced his speed and blinked on the left, she mistakenly interpreted this as a request to overtake and swerved out of the convoy of vehicles. In fact, the truck driver wanted to turn onto a company site. The woman’s car collided with the truck and then crashed into a company sign on the left side of the road. The 21-year-old was taken to a Munich clinic by the emergency services. The two vehicles involved in the accident suffered property damage worth tens of thousands of euros. State road 2079 was temporarily closed in both directions while the accident was being recorded.
