Hohenbrunn – again delay at the swimming pool – Munich district

It was only a week and a half ago that Hohenbrunn’s Mayor Stefan Straßmair (CSU) promised the opening of the new Riemerlingen indoor pool for the week after the autumn holidays – at least for school classes. The head of the town hall announced at the municipal council meeting on Thursday that this date could not be kept either. When his deputy, Green Anke Lunemann, wanted to know when, after the students, the members of the swimming department of TSV Hohenbrunn, the Riemerlinger Haie, would finally be allowed to go into the pool, Straßmair said: “We can only start between November 20th and November 1st Let the students in in December if everything goes well.” The reason for the new delay is the fire detectors that are not yet operational. “The chlorine gas systems can only be switched on when these are running,” says Straßmair. Full utilization with club swimming and public access will only be possible in the new year if you have enough staff. “You have to be very angry about so many little things,” said the visibly annoyed mayor. The top priority now is for the gym and lunchtime care to be put into operation as quickly as possible on the sports campus.
