Karl-Heinz Rummenigge used humorous words to describe his comeback with the German record champions. “If Uli Hoeneß (Bavaria Honorary President, ed.) and Herbert Hainer (President, ed.) come and ask. When I look at Hoeneß’s loyal dog eyes, I can hardly say no,” said the longtime club boss, who has now moved to the supervisory board, at the Spobis sports business congress on Thursday in Düsseldorf.
Rummenigge said about the future distribution of managerial tasks at FC Bayern: “We still have a vacancy in the sports area at the moment. As long as the vacancy is open, Uli, I, coach Thomas Tuchel and the new CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen will discuss things.” He’s not worried, the team is basically good.

Last Saturday, Bayern announced the separation of club boss Oliver Kahn and sports director Hasan Salihamidzic due to the mixed season despite the championship on the last day. As a result, Dreesen was promoted to the new boss, Rummenigge is making a comeback in the Bayern leadership.
