The Ilmbrücke in Hilgertshausen is passable again. The demolition of the old and the construction of the new bridge took almost four months, and the Free State invested around 650,000 euros in the new structure. On Monday, the Mayor of Hilgertshausen-Tandern, Markus Hertlein, and the Head of Road Construction at the Freising State Building Authority, Hans Jörg Oelschlegel, opened the bridge to traffic. This is 10.50 meters wide with a 1.50 meter wide walkway on both sides.
