Higher interest rates on life insurance – Economy

For years, life insurance rates have only been going down. Now there are signs of a turnaround: Some companies are crediting their customers more. The Versicherungskammer Bayern, for example, is increasing the current interest rate for 2023 by 0.75 percentage points to 2.25 percent, market leader Allianz by 0.2 percentage points to 2.5 percent. Interest is always only paid on the savings portion of the premiums.
