Hezbollah boss threatens Israel with escalation: “Realistic possibility” (video)

Watch the video: Hezbollah boss threatens Israel with escalation – “Realistic possibility”.

It was Hassan Nasrallah’s first public speech since the war between the radical Islamic group Hamas and Israel broke out in early October. The head of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia threatened on Friday with a further escalation in the conflict. “The concern is that this could escalate into another conflict or a full-scale war; or that the front will turn into a broader war – this is a realistic possibility and can happen. The enemy should take this into account,” Nasrallah said and emphasized that all options on the Lebanese front remained open. Just as here in the Lebanese capital Beirut, Hezbollah supporters gathered in Tehran to listen to Nasrallah. The radical Islamic militia is supported by Iran and operates from Lebanon against Israel. Nasrallah did not specifically threaten a large-scale attack on Israel. He emphasized that the attack on Israel by the radical Islamic Hamas on October 7th was “100 percent Palestinian.” At the same time, however, he blamed the USA for the current situation in the Gaza Strip. What is happening there is a “decisive battle”. And Israel will not achieve its goals, he said. The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to destroy Hamas with its ongoing campaign in the Gaza Strip.
