Half time: What was shown in the first half cannot be described as an attractive game. Hertha in particular didn’t show much, but the Red Devils were very efficient with their chances and deservedly lead 2-0.

38. Hertha BSC vs. 1. FC KAISERSLAUTERN 0:2! It starts right after Gersbeck’s goal kick, and Tabakovic then loses the header duel. Lautern suddenly has a lot of space, and there isn’t a Berliner in sight. Ritter plays a fantastic pass to Tachie, who slams it into the far corner. Gersbeck can’t do much about it.
37. Hertha finally with a good move. Tabakovic is able to secure the ball in front and plays it back to Scherhant, who tries it. Krahl can parry it with difficulty.
34. Barkok puts Ronstadt away with the body. Maybe you could even have given a yellow card, but Jöllenbeck lets it go.
32. The home team takes a long free kick. Tabakovic directs the ball in the penalty area with his head in a different direction to Scherhant, whose header is too lax.
31. Now Niehues has a lot of green in front of him, but he hastily decides on a cross, which, however, misses the target by miles. Hertha goal kick.
29. Leistner heads straight to the opponent, so Lautern has plenty of space. Ache is found on the right, who tries it alone and shoots, but Gersbeck is able to parry the shot that is too central.

12. Puchacz picks up the pace on the side and fights for a corner. This is aimed at the 1-0 goalscorer Elvedi in the five-man area, but the ball sails over his head.
11. The Lauterers are awarded a free kick in a similar position to the 1-0. This time, however, he doesn’t become a threat.
9. The home team suffered a setback early in the game. They probably imagined it differently, but there are still more than 80 minutes left to correct the result.
