Henry Cavill has landed his next project. In the spy film “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare” he fights against the Nazis.

A very exciting sounding new film project is on the horizon. Superstar Henry Cavill (“The Witcher”, 39) according to Deadline, will star in “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare” by “Aladdin” and “Sherlock Holmes” director Guy Ritchie (54). It is a spy action film set during World War II. Super producer Jerry Bruckheimer (79), who is known for the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series and this year’s hit film “Top Gun: Maverick”, is also involved in the upcoming film project. “Baby Driver” star Eiza González (32) is said to play the female lead alongside Cavill.

That’s what “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare” is about

The star-studded new film follows a real-life British intelligence unit fighting the Nazis behind enemy lines during World War II. It was founded by Prime Minister Winston Churchill (1874-1965). The historical figure may also appear in The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Cavill will play the leader of the secret combat unit, while co-star González is set to play an extraordinary agent and sniper, as Deadline says. Filming could begin as early as January 2023. A distributor for the film project is currently being sought. With the appropriate public success, an entire franchise consisting of film sequels and offshoots in series form is conceivable.

Busy Henry Cavill

Ritchie and Cavill previously worked together on the spy action comedy Codename UNCLE in 2015. Actor Cavill only confirmed his return as Superman in the DC film universe a few days ago after the mime was seen as a Kryptonian in the end credits of “Black Adam”. In addition, Cavill will soon appear in the agent thriller “Argylle” by Matthew Vaughn (51) and in the third season of the fantasy series “The Witcher” on Netflix. Already on November 4th, “Enola Holmes 2” will start on the Netflix streaming service, in which Cavill again embodies the famous master detective Sherlock Holmes alongside “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown (18).
