Not a word about the baby, but the fact that Helene Fischer currently has this “glow” was not contradicted by the singer. It couldn’t go any better, she enthused during the livestream at the start of the new album “Rausch” – but the evening didn’t go without fan frustration.

She hid the baby tummy under a wide sweater, the ladder under brown overknees, as she herself admitted. Germany’s superstar Helene Fischer was completely happy during a livestream on the eve of the release of her new album “Rausch”. “It can’t go any better,” said the 37-year-old on Thursday evening in a live broadcast that could be seen on Youtube and Tiktok.

On arrival, presenter Janin Ullmann congratulated Fischer on her “luck”, she had “this glow”. After media reports about a pregnancy, Fischer turned to her fans on Instagram several days ago. She is doing fantastic and looking forward to the time ahead, she wrote there. But even now she did not speak literally of a pregnancy.

Helene Fischer: hype “a bit absurd”

“It’s not an easy topic for me. It’s actually a bit absurd for me,” said Fischer, looking at the many headlines. It actually doesn’t want to take place there and can understand those who are annoyed “by this Helene Fischer hype”.

Singer Helene Fischer shares the first video after baby news.

The entertainer said again that she wanted to go on tour again in 2023. “I will definitely prepare intensively next year,” she said. You can’t say anything specific yet, but the tour won’t start in autumn 2023 and the dates will be announced soon. Fischer has only announced a single concert in Germany for the coming year: on August 20, she will perform in front of 150,000 fans in Munich.

Frustration about switching from Youtube to TikTok

Something could have gone better during the big livestream evening. If the little hearts in the chat column flew to the singer at the beginning of the YouTube stream, many fans were overwhelmed by the platform change from YouTube to Tiktok after around 75 minutes of the stream. This not least because quite a number of Helene Fischer’s admirers had never used TikTok and quickly found no access, as became clear in the chat. Others were simply surprised by the platform change.

Not everyone understood that. But even the frustrated fans didn’t want to blame their idol. Because in the end the enthusiasm about the prospect of a new album prevailed. With the video premiere at midnight, the release day of “Rausch” will be heralded on Youtube.
