Helene Fischer in Munich: First impressions of the concert – Munich

“When euphoria shoots through your veins,” sings Helene Fischer right at the beginning of her first of five concerts in the Olympiahalle. And immediately the pulse rate of her fans rises from “zero to 100” as she sang about. Together with the Canadian Cirque du Soleil, which is one of the most successful circus companies in the world even without animal training, Helene Fischer offers her fans even more artistry in the concert than they already knew from her previous shows.

Together with 30 dancers, acrobats and musicians, Helene combines her music with a spectacular circus, in which the singer, always keen on superlatives, also wears a dress made especially for this show from 120 meters of special fabric. Or rather “will wear”.

Helene Fischer was just floating down onto the stage, standing on a trapeze, when the world in the Olympic Hall also stood still for a moment: “Hello Munich,” she greets the audience, and is on the stage where she was just standing alone She is now surrounded by dancers and acrobats who, grasping red vertical cloths, fly and dance to dizzying heights and, like Helene’s music, lose all grip on the ground. The description heavenly for such an opening can also be understood without any religious references, even if heaven opens up for the fans in the Olympic Hall in the first song.

First of a total of five concerts in Munich

Four more concerts are scheduled in the Olympiahalle in the coming days. Helene Fischer will then have performed 71 times on the “Rausch” tour, and 75,000 visitors will soon have seen the show.

The concerts are hugely equipped, with a 150-person team, five-meter pool, 5,000 spotlights and 1,260 holographic vinyl particles “to intensify the make-up.” This is not recommended for imitation, nor are the acrobatic tricks that Fischer performs with 30 artists (like her life partner Thomas Seitel) on ropes, cloths, rings, in a bamboo pole forest, under a 3000 liter waterfall and from a huge one Robot arm being thrown around. To do this, she brought in acrobats and show planners from the Canadian revue giant Cirque du Soleil, which has only staged music shows similar to “Beatles – Love” in Las Vegas. Only Helene Fischer can afford the top US format in this country – and bring it credibly to the stage.
