What a sweet gesture!
Superstar Helene Fischer (37) chose a very special name for her daughter who was just born, BILD learned exclusively.
The mini Helene is called Nala – like the courageous lion girl from the classic Disney film “The Lion King” (1994).
Nala is the girlfriend of lion cub Simba, whose father, King Mufasa, is killed by his sneaky brother Scar. Years later, Simba and Nala marry and become the new royal couple…
Helene Fischer is a “huge Disney fan”, she said in December 2016. At that time she sang the German title song of the Disney cartoon “Vaiana”.
She gushed, “It’s a huge honor to be able to sing the song. I enjoyed being someone else in the studio.”
In 2013 and 2019 she sang Disney melodies in her “Helene Fischer Show”, including songs from “The Lion King”.
With the birth of the desired child Nala, Helene and her fiancé Thomas Seitel (he just celebrated his 37th birthday) finally fulfilled their dream of having their own family. BILD knows: the little one is already adored by everyone!
In Africa, the first name Nala is popular. In Swahili it means “the lioness, the queen”. But also: “the gift”.
For Helene and her Thomas, Nala, who was born around Christmas, is the gift of a lifetime!
Myth Walt Disney
Animator Walt Disney († 65) came to Hollywood in 1923 and founded a production company there with his brother.
After inventing Mickey Mouse in 1928, he became one of the world’s most successful film producers. Movie classics like “Bambi” or “101 Dalmatians” are still loved today by young and old.
The remake “The Lion King” from 2019 (original 1994) grossed 1448 million euros and is one of the ten most successful films of all time.
