Helen Mirren and her co-star Jim Broadbent hit the dance floor for photographers on the red carpet in London.
Actress Helen Mirren (76) and her co-star Jim Broadbent (72) did a dance routine on the red carpet. The two also showed their style at a special screening of their film “The Duke” at the National Gallery in London.
Mirren beamed in a red evening dress. The 76-year-old combined the long robe with statement earrings. She wore her hair in a bun. Her colleague Broadbent chose an elegant suit for the event.
Film premiere in 2020
“The Duke” premiered at the 2020 Venice International Film Festival. Although the film was shot in the UK, it will not be available to see there or in Ireland until February 25th.
The film is set in 1961. Broadbent portrays 60-year-old taxi driver Kempton Bunton. He steals Francisco de Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. Domestic help Dorothy’s (Helen Mirren) husband demands that the government give older people more privileges in exchange for the return.
