Actor Heinz Hoenig has left the jungle camp. Seeing his wife again brings tears to his eyes.
“Heinz is back in civilization and can finally hug the people he loves again,” comments the broadcaster RTL a touching video posted on the Instagram page of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” has been published.
You can see the moment when actor Heinz Hoenig (72) hugs his wife, Annika Kärsten-Hoenig (38), for the first time after moving out of the jungle camp. Tears flow from him, she lovingly strokes his cheeks, kisses him and fixes his hair. “I love you,” he says, moved after two weeks of separation and hardship, and continues: “It’s nice to be here again, Mamma Mia.”
Kärsten Hoenig also posts the video on her account and comments on it with the hashtag #unconditionallove.
Annika Kärsten-Hoenig: “His physical condition has deteriorated somewhat”
In the post before Annika Kärsten-Hoenig, who has been married to Heinz Hoenig since 2019 and has two children with him, explains how the actor is doing now.
“It’s like this: Heinz is out, as you saw. Precautionary for medical reasons. He himself, I think, would have held out a little longer, but I think it’s very, very responsible of the production that they made that decision and that they “Don’t take any unnecessary risks,” says Kärsten-Hoenig.
She continues: “I think we all saw that his physical condition had deteriorated somewhat.” But mentally he is “in a really good mood, thank God”. He is back with his family and the reunion the evening before was “very, very emotional,” she reports with a smile.
