Heike Geißler’s novel “Die Woche” – Culture

We meet on a Monday afternoon in Leipzig, and that’s exactly how it has to be, because in her novel “Die Woche” Heike Geißler wrote about how frustrating it is when everything starts all over again on Monday: work, school, capitalism. The scene of the action is Leipzig, supposedly the coolest city in Germany, with its historic Monday demonstrations, in the tradition of which the Legida and lateral thinker protests, which are not very popular in the Republic, are now lined up.
