Heidi Klum reveals: Her daughters Leni and Lou are so different

Heidi Klum is a mother of four. Her older daughter Leni now works as a model herself. The 48-year-old spoke about the interests of her younger daughter Lou in an interview.
Heidi Klum has announced some changes for the upcoming season of her casting show “Germany’s Next Top Model”. The selection of candidates is more diverse than ever, the age range extends from 18 to 68 years, said the 48-year-old in an interview with the magazine “Gala”.
About her own beginnings in the fashion industry, Klum said: “I come from a time when they looked at me and labeled me too fat. Back then in Paris I really never fit into anything at castings. My agent gave me pills that I was measured and put on the scales every day. Fortunately, I never took these pills – I wanted to be accepted for who I am. It took some time before I even got jobs. “
She does not yet know whether her eldest daughter Leni will stop by the GNTM set again. “My daughter is working an awful lot right now and also attending school. She’s now in her senior year of high school before going to college. Let’s see, maybe it’ll work and she’ll come over for an episode “said Klum about the 17-year-old.
Leni Klum has ambitions to follow in her mother’s footsteps and has also recently started working as a model. At the end of last year, Heidi and Leni Klum graced the cover of German “Vogue”, a little later the teenager was featured at the Berlin Fashion Week and on the cover of “Glamor” magazine. In August of this year, Leni Klum walked the catwalk in Venice for Dolce & Gabbana. Most recently, the 17-year-old made headlines with an Instagram photo of her half-naked chest.

Klum’s younger daughter Lou, on the other hand, is very different from her half-sister. “She has completely different interests. She is an A-class student, has A’s everywhere. She loves anime, also watches everything in Japanese. (…) As a toddler she was rather calmer and listened to her siblings a lot,” said Klum the “Gala”. The twelve-year-old cannot currently decide whether she would like to “become a pop star, veterinarian or president”.
Like her brothers Johan and Henry, Lou comes from Heidi Klum’s marriage to musician Seal. The couple were married from 2005 to 2014. Seal adopted Leni, who emerged from Klum’s relationship with former Formula 1 manager Flavio Briatore and was born in 2004. Klum has been married to Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz for the third time since 2019.
