Back in 1998, Heidi Klum briefly got a taste of Hollywood air with a cameo appearance in the film “Studio 54” with the main actors Ryan Phillippe (49) and Salma Hayek (57). She finally had more screen time in the 1999 sitcom “Chaos City”: Klum played herself in seven episodes of the third season as the girlfriend of Michael Flaherty, who was portrayed by Michael J. Fox (62).
Klum in “Zoolander” and “Sex and the City”
After further small roles in the series “Cursed” (2000) and the film “Sooner or Longer” (2001), in which she played a hairstyle model alongside Josh Hartnett (45), Heidi Klum then celebrated a guest appearance in the hit comedy “Zoolander” (2001) with Ben Stiller (57) and Owen Wilson (54) and a special appearance in “Sex and the City” (2001). There she also appeared as herself: in a scene on a catwalk she stepped over Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), who had previously stumbled. A little later, Klum appeared in “Malcolm in the Middle” (2002) as a toothless ice hockey player.

This was followed by a brief appearance in “CSI: Miami” (2003) and a role in “Ella – Verflixt & zauberhaft” (2004) as a friendly giant, before another highlight was added to Klum’s filmography with “The Devil Wears Prada” (2006). . In the cult film with Meryl Streep (74), Anne Hathaway (41) and Emily Blunt (40), she played herself again and sat prominently in the audience at a fashion show.
“How I Met Your Mother” and “Desperate Housewives”
In the thriller “Seduction of a Stranger” (2007) she played a presenter, then Klum once again appeared as Heidi Klum in two successful series: in “How I Met Your Mother” (2007), where she appeared at a “Victoria’s Secret” party meets Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Ted (Josh Radnor), as well as in “Desperate Housewives”. There, Klum expressed her opinion to her “old friend” Gaby (Eva Longoria) in a short scene. In the episode “Bruderliebe” of “Die Bergretter” (ZDF, November 23rd, 8:15 p.m.) she plays the event manager Isabelle Klett, who is supposed to organize a fashion show.
