Heidi Klum revealed in an interview that it was “not easy” for Tom Kaulitz to suddenly be the stepfather of four children.
Heidi Klum (48) has been happily married to musician Tom Kaulitz (32) since 2019. Along with the wife, her four children Leni (17), Henry (16), Johan (15) and Lou (12) from previous relationships also entered his life. Interviewed by Us Weekly The 48-year-old said that it was “certainly not easy” for her husband to “join a family and suddenly have four children and teenagers”.
It was “easier” when her children were younger. “Every age brings its own challenges,” the model continued. Meanwhile, Tom Kaulitz and the children are of one heart and soul. Heidi Klum already showed in 2019 in a clip on Instagramthat her husband taught their eldest daughter Leni how to drive. Now he is also teaching 16-year-old Henry, as she further revealed.
Leni Klum “goes her own way”
In an interview, Heidi Klum also chatted about the future of her four offspring. Leni Klum has already successfully started her modeling career, she goes “her own way”. “I think it’s so wonderful that she’s not trying to be like me,” Klum said of her eldest daughter.
“She’s short for a model and she embraces it. She’s had a camera in front of her since birth, so she sees the camera more like a friend than an enemy. I feel like she’s super relaxed in front of the camera and always is having the best time,” says Mama Klum.
Daughter Lou wants to be either a pop star, a veterinarian or a president
Her younger children, on the other hand, don’t seem to want to follow in her footsteps. “My boys are big gamers,” said Heidi Klum. “Lou could go into music. We don’t know. Sometimes she says, ‘I want to be a pop star.'” The 12-year-old is also a big fan of anime characters and cosplay. Her other career aspirations are “veterinarian” or “president”. “It’s a choice between these three options,” said Klum.
Leni comes from Heidi Klum’s previous relationship with Flavio Briatore (71). She has three other children with ex-husband Seal (58), to whom she was married from 2005 to 2014. In August 2019, the model said yes to the Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz.
