In the south of Bavaria there should be some heavy thunderstorms on Wednesday night. Especially in the Alps and in the southern foothills of the Alps the German Weather Service (DWD) expects thunderstorms with heavy gusts of wind around 100 kilometers per hour, heavy rain and hail.
In the morning on Tuesday it should be sunny in many places. The maximum temperatures are said to be between 25 and 31 degrees. Over the course of the day, denser clouds are expected to move in from the west. According to the DWD, individual thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas are also possible in the rest of the southern half of Bavaria from the afternoon.
