Heavy damage in two fires – Bavaria

Dombühl / Zellingen – Two fires in Bavaria caused high damage over the Christmas period. According to the police, a fire broke out in the laundry in a butcher’s shop in Dombühl (Ansbach district) on Christmas Eve. The fire brigade managed to put out the fire. Due to the heavy smoke development, several residents had to be temporarily evacuated from the neighboring houses. The property damage is in the six-digit euro range. The damage caused by a fire in a single-family house in Zellingen (Main-Spessart district) is also in the six-digit euro range. The fire there broke out on the morning of Christmas Day. The fire brigade was on site with more than 100 emergency services and put out the flames. Nobody got hurt. The cause of both fires was initially unclear.
