According to Meteo France, Sunday, it was up to 38.2 degrees in Soumont, near Lodève, in the north of the department. This is a record for this period. The last dated July 26, 2018. The thermometer had climbed to 38 degrees.

Another heat record, in Marsillargues, on Sunday. It was up to 37 degrees in this village. This is 0.1 degrees warmer than July 23, 2003, a year marked by the heat wave.
