This year, the first heat warning came in mid-June, far too early. Almost everywhere the temperatures rose to more than 30 degrees. According to a Yougov survey, Germans find anything above that too hot, with 23 degrees being ideal. But the summer will probably not go according to people’s wishes, soon it could even get as warm as 40 degrees. Many apartments (especially on the top floor) then turn into saunas again, in which it is not possible to endure for long. So what to do to keep your own four walls cool?
