Head of pension insurance files lawsuit against dismissal – Bavaria

The head of the German Pension Insurance (DRV) Bavaria South, Elisabeth Häusler, is fighting against her ban. This was confirmed by Markus Eichenseher, Vice President of the Regensburg Administrative Court Süddeutsche Zeitung. According to this, a lawsuit was filed against the pension insurance company on August 8 because of the ban on official business.

In addition, an urgent application for preliminary legal protection was also filed by Häusler. This is intended to ensure that the managing director should be able to fulfill her official duties again for the time being. “Because only the lawsuit filed by Ms. Häusler would not have a suspensive effect,” says Eichenseher. It is not yet foreseeable when the lawsuit will be decided. However, this also applies to the urgent application, as the court has learned.

An insider reported a few weeks ago that the managing director, that is, Häusler, had been suspended from work by the board with immediate effect and had had half an hour to clear the desk and office. A house ban is said to have been pronounced. Häusler later confirmed to the German Press Agency that she was completely surprised by the decision to continue to receive her salary and that she had nothing to blame for her job.

The pension insurance itself, on the other hand, has not yet given any reasons for Häusler’s sudden dismissal. Officially, according to the pension organization, Häusler is only “not on duty”. Rüdiger Alfery, member of the board of the pension insurance company Bayern Süd, confirmed the Süddeutsche Zeitung when asked by telephone that Häusler was “currently not on duty”. The DRV Bayern Süd calls on their home pageAs of Thursday afternoon, Häusler is still the CEO, even with a photo.
