They were 73 and 60 and both died, but it was once again the man who killed the woman. This feminicide happened Thursday evening in the city center of Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône (Val-d’Oise) according to the Pontoise prosecutor’s office and a police source. A man shot his wife twice while they were on Place Mendès-France, in the immediate vicinity of the town hall.
The couple was taken care of by the emergency services but they “both died in hospital”, said the prosecution, which adds that an “old handgun” was used for this murder. No other people were injured in this shooting.
A murder investigation has been opened and entrusted to the departmental security of Val-d’Oise, according to the prosecution, which indicates that it could move towards the trail of an assassination, given the possible premeditation of the deed.
