He discovers a secret passage under his house while carrying out work

Quite a surprise for a resident of Rodès, a small town in the Pyrénées-Orientales located about thirty kilometers east of Perpignan. While carrying out sanitation work in his garden, this man discovered a huge buried stone, details The Independent. As it broke, it revealed an opening to a narrow passage.

After clearing the stones, the resident discovers an underground passage which leads under his house. And at the end of the corridor, an empty room of ten square meters. Inside, he found no evidence of life or any treasure. But the mystery remains as to the use of this room located under the dining room. A trapdoor connected the two rooms, visibly blocked for years.
