Having a cold in the office: When people go to work sick – Business

Anyone who is sick stays in bed – unless they have to work. Even when their head is pounding, their throat is aching and their nose is running, many people force themselves to work. Then the sick person sneezes in the open-plan office, and everyone wishes themselves “health.” According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute, around seven percent of Germans currently have a cold. Around 5.9 million people recently had acute respiratory diseases. But not everyone stays in bed with a cold.
