Fraudulent SMS, unsolicited calls… Attempts to scam the personal training account (CPF) are increasing, while the government has announced its intention to ban this practice. Some messages received are urgent, indicating, wrongly, that your rights expire on December 15th. You are then asked to complete a form with your contact details.
The financial windfall accumulated on the CPF is tempting for fraud attempts: every employee, self-employed or liberal worker or job seeker is entitled to it and accumulates hours there that can be transformed into training. Civil servants also have this device, subject to conditions.
The official website of the CPF warns against these fraud attempts, which can result in the rights accumulated during your career being siphoned off. The government recommends that you never give out your credentials to access your CPF account.
