Hasenbergl: Young people want better opportunities for future generations – Munich

At a meeting with politicians and administrators, young people who did not have it easy in their childhood are committed to ensuring that the next generation can grow up under better conditions. What do you think needs to change?

You know how it is when money is tight at home. If it’s not enough to do something with peers because it costs entry, like going to the swimming pool. With the support of the Regsam network, youth work facilities and the city youth welfare office, youth and young people from the north of Munich have got together and sought dialogue with politicians and the administration in order to make it clear what needs to be done better. In seven meetings, the young people between the ages of 14 and their early 20s prepared themselves, formulated topics and thought about moderation. “It went great,” they agreed at a follow-up meeting.
