Singer is favorite for the next Bond song

British bookmakers are singing it from the rooftops: the next Bond song could come from Harry Styles’ throat.
Who will follow Daniel Craig (55)? While the world continues to rack its brains over who will be the next Bond actor – or will it even be an actress? – Craig’s successor is there According to “DailyMail” there is currently a clear favorite when it comes to the title song. As the newspaper reports, Harry Styles (29) is traded highest at British bookmakers – ahead of pop greats such as Ed Sheeran (32), Lewis Capaldi (26) and Sir Elton John (76).
Bond song would be the next chart success
If Styles were given the honor of the Bond theme song, he would be in line with music giants such as Dame Shirley Bassey (86), Paul McCartney (81), Madonna (65) and Adele (35). He should also be happy about another worldwide chart success. Adele was even awarded a Grammy, a Golden Globe and an Oscar in 2013 for her hit title to the Bond film of the same name “Skyfall”.
From bakery salesman to superstar
For Styles, being chosen as the Bond theme singer would be another milestone in his impressive career. Cast in England in 2010 as a 16-year-old bakery salesman on “The X Factor” for the boy band One Direction, he has been successfully soloing since 2017. Initially seen as a teenage heartthrob, Styles now has a worldwide fan base across all age groups. Hits like “Watermelon Sugar” and “As it was” gave him entry into the ranks of the top international music acts.
Why not order the martini yourself?
Styles has also gained some experience as an actor, such as in the 2022 thriller “Don’t worry Darling”. It makes sense that Styles supporters are asking themselves: Why only the title song? Why doesn’t Harry Edward Styles order the famous Bond martini himself in the next Bond film in style and in Her Majesty’s name? However, Styles is not currently being considered as Craig’s successor.
