A whopping seven seasons of a new “Harry Potter” series are planned – Warner CEO David Zaslav revealed this in an interview with shareholders. Author JK Rowling has already given her blessing.
The foundation stone has been laid for a while: the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is to be rebuilt and once again used as a backdrop for a film adaptation of the “Harry Potter” books. Warner Bros. announced the plan last year – and it’s gradually becoming concrete.
How “Variety” reports, the first of a total of seven seasons is scheduled to land on the streaming service HBO Max as early as 2026.
