Under contract with the largest sporting goods manufacturer Nike for years, the attacking Englishman now scores his goals wearing the shoes of a brand that previously didn’t make any football shoes: Skechers. With Kane as a figurehead, the casual shoe brand from California is challenging the soccer market leaders Nike and Adidas – a daring experiment with manageable chances of success.
